Q.
What does "pdf" mean
?
A. A pdf document is a document
that can be opened and viewed by using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The
program is free from Adobe and can be downloaded from their
website. Free download for the Adobe Reader is
here.

Q. I want to
save the newsletter
on my computer to read or print later but when I click on the pdf
link the newsletter opens up.
A. Instead of just clicking the
pdf link, select it and then right click it, (use your right mouse
button). From the box of choices that will appear, select the
option "save target as" and then save the document on your hard
drive in the folder you choose.

Q.
There are pictures that were
taken of me that are in the photo gallery section. Can I have a
copy of it?
A. I can't actually send you a
copy but you can save a copy of it yourself on your computer and
print it or send it to an online photo
processing service to print and
mail to you (I recommend
shutterfly.com or
dotphoto.com).
After you have opened the larger
image, right
click the image (use your right mouse button) and from the box of choices that will appear,
select the option "save picture as" and then save the
picture on
your hard drive in the folder you choose. Additionally, you can
select one of the other options; Set as Background or Set as
Desktop Item, etc. You can use a picture of you or your bike as
your monitors "wallpaper."

Q.
The website looks completely
different on my computer at work than on my computer at home.
A. Yes, it will look different
unless both computers (including the monitors) are the same using
the same internet browser. I design the site for Internet Explorer
users so the site looks it's best and loads the fastest for those visitors
using Internet Explorer. I am doing this website for free
and in my spare time
- I do
not design for Netscape or AOL users because it takes
additional time and work to add the necessary programming for AOL
and Netscape users. Sorry.....

Q.
What information are you
collecting about me when I visit the site?
A. The only information I
collect is general data about the number of visitors, and what
areas of the website are being visited the most. I do not collect
specific information (IP addresses) about the individual visitors.
So, if you are looking at a picture of your bike everyday, don't
worry, I don't know who you are, I just know someone is
going to a certain page every day. :)

the Members Only area? Forgot your password?
A. If you have
forgotten the login and password for the Members Area? Email or
contact the Membership Officer (see the Chapter Officers page).
Upon verification of your status, you will be provided with the
necessary login/password information.
